Hi Please Read This!

Hi in Social Studies Friday my teacher had us write poems about refugees in Sudan and she was so touched by mine I decided to put it on as a Blog. Here we go,

I am Poem

I am a refugee
I wonder who died for my freedom
I hear guns and crying mothers
I see blood and dead children
I am a refugee
I feel my brothers tear as he cries his last tear
I touch his body before it's gone forever
I worry for I'm all alone
I cry for the dead
I am a refugee
I understand others hearts
I say I'm just like you
I dream for a world of families and softened hearts
I try to  lighten hearts although mine is full of sorrow
I hope for freedom
I am a refugee

I hope that as you were reading this poem you could see what some refugees were going through in Sudan. So I ask of you please soften your hearts and help those millions and millions of people being forced out of there country by there own government please help those who need help.
 Please, Jessica
